In one weeks time and a bit I’m going to be going to Hawaii for a holiday, lucky me I know! It’s the 5th time over there for me.
The 3rd time last year I went was because, my boyfriend and I decided to tie the knot on a whim instead of waiting for years to get married and waste money on a wedding so we chose Hawaii as our wedding/honeymoon, also because my best friend lives over there, kind of killing 2 birds with 1 stone. The 4th time was in July, I was on holiday from uni and going through a stressful time and just needed to get away, so where best to go than a beautiful, tropical, cruisey place that my best friend happens to live in! This year my husband and I are celebrating our first year of marriage 2 weeks after our anniversary and also it’s my best friends birthday (I actually thought of my best friend first on this holiday and was just going for her by myself since it’s after our anniversary haha whoops..) Also killing 2 birds with 1 stone again.
I have family that live on the other side of Oahu so have went there the 1st 2 times in my life (cant remember where they live) we would go swimming at 1am in the morning it’s that hot, my cousins taught me how to climb the coconut trees in their front yard, we went to luau’s and also went to the Polynesian Cultural Centre where I found and fell in love with Purple Taro bread.
Last year we stayed in Waikiki, mainly hit the shops, drank and played in our hotel pool, the beach and ate out at the restaurants. Even though it was summer here and winter over there, it was hotter over there.
Fourth time I went over to the big island and stayed with my besty at her place in Hilo then she took me to the other side and we stayed in the Hilton Resort that’s in Waikaloa Village and visited Kona. The Hilton over there SHEESH! It has a tram in the actual resort it’s that big to get around! Arvahna (my besty) and I decided to walk to reception one time because the tram was full, yeah not doing that again! I can see why they have one. I swam with the dolphins while staying there and fed them it was epic as! The closest thing I can think of describing a dolphins skin is wet, smooth leather. The place also has a freaking waterfall, I have been to quite a lot of great hotels in my life but never anything like this, I couldn’t get over the place.
This year we are doing it again, staying in Hilo and going over to Kona and visiting The Hilton again. But this time we are away for 2 weeks so we have more time to do stuff which is going to include visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, The Hawaiian Beaches, going to the beach a bit more, getting Arvahna’s husband to teach mine how to surf
and just to chill, drink on the beach and have fun.
I have been to quite a few places in my life, which I’m very grateful for, LA, San Diego, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Hawaii, Rarotonga and of course Australia plenty of times BUT Hawaii has to be my favourite place out of all of them. If you ever go there, be prepared for the heat, especially in their summer. I personally love the heat and it’s alright for me but you have to remember, everyone is different.
I tell anyone that is travelling that they have to visit Hawaii, the people are really friendly, helpful and willing to please. The locations are breath-taking and what you would imagine in a movie or in a magazine. It truly is a paradise to relax, chill, surf and shop.

Welcome, so we thought today we’d throw a little light over how the stripper industry works in New Zealand. You may have been browsing through
We’ve seen it before, a few times in fact, hearing the review of a friends hens party, and how amazing it was. A house hired somewhere north of Auckland with amazing scenery, a mini van hired, to drive the girls from activity A – B – C – D. From dinners, Cabaret, Burlesque Dancing then clubbing, and how fantastic the weekend was away from the bland normal days of work, kids and the hubby.
We have all heard of them, we all know what they are, But how many of us have actually been brave enough to get one? & No I’m not talking about an internet ordered bride from a country on the other side of the globe, I’m talking about …. Brazilians AKA a waxed box (or pussy or Va jay jay, or whatever you want to call it).
Yesterday I had the great pleasure of doing my very first photo shoot for 2012. A first photo shoot with someone you haven’t worked with before is always a bit awkward as you are both trying to figure out how to work with each other, what the other persons style is like and how you can work with it.
I used to be in awe of my girl friends who could jump up on a pole, spin around, go upside down and everything else you could do on a pole, I know and have worked with a lot of strippers and their moves are very hardcore and amazing! I could do the basics and dance around it but was too scared to do what they did, I hate hurting myself and was especially scared of falling and breaking something.
